Health and Safety

  • Everyone living in Ohio is ordered to stay at their place of residence. This order goes into effect Monday, March 23 at 11:59 PM and will last until at least Monday, April 6. You should stay in your home and only go out for a limited time to the grocery, pharmacy, gasoline station or to take care of family or neighbors. Individuals can also take a walk as long as they practice SOCIAL DISTANCING.

  • Means always staying at least 6 feet from other individuals to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This is particularly important when outside of your home.

  • Gatherings of people in groups should not happen as it increases the possibility of transferring the virus between people. In the case of funerals or weddings, small numbers of people may come together if they practice social distancing, covering coughs/sneezes and washing their hands. MOST PLACES OF WORSHIP ARE CLOSED. However, you may be able to access services on your phone, internet, television or radio.

  • Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water helps prevent the spread of the virus. Additionally, do not touch your face as this could allow the virus to spread. Use hand sanitizer.

  • You should cough into the elbow section of your sleeve and cover your sneezes with your arm or a clean tissue that you then dispose of immediately.

  • Keeping in contact is helpful and supportive but should only be done with social distancing, by phone or through social media unless absolutely necessary (such as delivering groceries or prescriptions).

If you are not feeling well, CALL your doctor. DO NOT GO to the DOCTOR’S OFFICE, URGENT CARE or the EMERGENCY ROOM. Follow the information given by your doctor during the call.

  • like kitchen counters, desks, stove tops, or handles on refrigerator in your home is very important. If possible, use a solution that contains bleach or alcohol. You should also wipe down your keyboard, phone and other devices.

  • Grab and Go meals are available for school aged children from various resources. Please check the ETSS website (ethiotss.org) for locations

  • Very limited. You can check the COTA website for more info

MOST BUSINESSES, RESTAURANTS, BANKS are CLOSED.

  • The easiest way to file for unemployment is via the internet (unemployment.ohio.gov). Be sure your claim includes the number 2000180 as this places your claim for rapid response.

  • Issued by a police department/government agency to let the community know that a child has been abducted and alerting them to any information that would help identify the child or the abductor. You only need to contact the authorities if you see the child or vehicle
