"Driving the Syrian family to a medical appointment went really well. They are a delightful family! The oldest daughter's English is really good, even though she said she's reluctant to use it in fear of making mistakes. I told her not to worry about it, and that she speaks very well. We talked about her wanting to go to school (technology/computers), her family, music (she likes Justin Bieber), and their ten years in Egypt. When I took them home, she asked for a hug! Dad and sons were just as kind. We exchanged phone numbers as well."
